SHIFRA MUGENI

Ms. Shifra Mugeni holds a Master of Laws in Legal Practice from BPP University (UK). She also holds a First-class Bachelor of Laws with Honours (LLB) obtained in 2021 from the University of Liverpool (UK). Ms Mugeni joined Trust Law Chambers in early 2023 and handles general commercial matters. She previously worked in the Economic and Financial Crimes Unit at the National Public Prosecution Authority, where she assisted in drafting indictments and researching the relevant laws to build cases. Additionally, she completed a Financial Services Regulation training Program at Herbert Smith Freehills and undertook paralegal tasks in the context of emerging markets, provided by Trinity International LLP.

She is a native speaker of Kinyarwanda with an excellent command of English and fluent French.
